Linking solidarity issues and environmental issues within food systems

The Covid-19 crisis likely heralds the imminence of serious environmental and health crises related to climate change, chemical pollution, biodiversity collapse, and resource depletion. In this context, the challenge of preventing the social marginalization of the most vulnerable has never been more crucial, especially as it is often given little or inadequate attention in sustainability objectives.

The Chair therefore focuses its efforts on these issues of food solidarity in the face of growing precariousness, and on ensuring access to sustainable food for all. It seeks to link socio-economic dimensions with environmental, health, and governance dimensions.

The Chair is accordingly involved in the various projects below.
