As a side event to the Science Days for the UN Food Systems Summit in New York in September, CIRAD and the Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Science organized a round table on the priorities for inclusive transformation of food systems in the global South.

Montpellier hosted the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact 5th Annual Gathering and Mayors’ Summit, which highlighted the strong link existing between the 2030 UN Agenda and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals and urban food issues.
A Panel discussion organized in Montpellier, where panelists discussed the conceptual and policy foundations needed to bring about this transformation. They will also provide examples from their research and practice to illustrate how these changes can happen on the ground.
